(Community Calendar) Nevada Transportation Disparity Study

Harry Reid International Airport (LAS) and the Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada (RTC) have retained the services of BBC Research & Consulting to conduct a disparity study to assess whether barriers exist that make it more difficult for businesses owned by people of color (POC) and women to compete for each agency’s contracts and procurements.
The Disparity Study will:
- Measure the availability and examine the participation of POC and woman-owned businesses in LAS and RTC contracting
- Assess local marketplace conditions for POC and woman-owned businesses
- Help LAS and RTC identify ways to make contracting opportunities more accessible to POC and woman-owned businesses
